Janni Lehrer-Stein

Janni Lehrer-Stein is a retired attorney and disability rights activist. She served two terms on the National Council on Disability during the Obama Administration. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for American Foundation for the Blind, where she chairs the Public Policy and research Advisory Committee, on the Board of the Foundation fighting Blindness, where she chairs the Accessibility Taskforce, and on the Forum on Aging, disability and independence for the National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine.. Janni has recently been appointed to serve on the NIH Eye Council, a Federal Advisory Commission that addresses research across the diverse spectrum of eye disease. She lives in San Francisco, CA.
