Disability Rights Advocates has designed this website to be easy to use and simple to navigate. Below are answers to common questions you may have about using the website. If your issue is not found here, please email the webmaster for assistance.

How do I find what I am looking for?

You can find information on this site in different ways.

  1. Use the navigation menu at the top of each page.
  2. Use the search engine, located on the top right corner of the page.
  3. Use the Site map.

If you ever get stuck while navigating this site, you may always return to the home page by clicking on the DRA Logo located in the top left hand corner of each page.

How can I use some of the accessibility features?

Set my Preferences

Text Size

Besides adjusting the zoom feature of your preferred browser, you can take advantage of the three text size (small, medium, and large) preferences available here.

Color Contrast Theme

There is an option to adjust the color theme, offering the normal color theme and a dark, high contrast theme.

Resize Text

You can use your browser to resize text on most websites. Using the keyboard, you can use Ctrl ++ or Cmd ++, or:

  • Internet Explorer (IE) users: select View > Text Size
  • Edge users: select Settings > Accessibility > Appearance > Customize Fonts
  • Mozilla Firefox users: select View > Zoom
  • Google Chrome users: select the Chrome Menu > Zoom

Increase Text Contrast

  • Internet Explorer (IE) users: select Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility
  • Mozilla Firefox users: select Tools > Options > General > Fonts & Colors
  • Google Chrome users: select the Chrome Menu > Zoom
  • Windows users: in the Windows menu, go to Control Panel > Ease of Access and enable Windows High Contrast Mode.

Skip to Content Navigation

A Skip to content link is located at the top right hand corner, along with other accessibility features, to enable those using screen readers or text browsers to skip the navigation menu and jump directly to the main content.

I am having trouble downloading a PDF document. What should I do?

  • Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Save the file to your computer before viewing. For Internet Explorer users, right-click on the link and select “Save Target As…”. For Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome users, right-click on the link and select “Save Link As…”.
  • Be patient — occasionally PDF documents have large file sizes and may take longer to download/view than other pages online. Depending on your Internet connection, download times will vary.
  • If you are still having problems viewing the file, please email the webmaster for assistance.

Something on this site doesn’t work. What should I do?

Please email the webmaster with any broken links, accessibility concerns, or other feedback related to the technical aspects of the site. Any email related to non-technical issues, such as DRA’s cases, should be directed to general@dralegal.org.
