Past Fellows

Ife Kubler-Agyemang joined Disability Rights Advocates from 2019-2020 as a Legal Fellow.

Ms. Kubler-Agyemang received her LL.M. from Harvard Law School as a Kennedy Scholar in 2019, and her LL.B with First Class Honors, from the University of Bristol in 2017. Ms. Kubler-Agyemang was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2018 having been awarded a Major Scholarship by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. During law school she founded the ‘Student-Hosted Advocacy and Research Project’ at the North Bristol Advice Center and represented people appealing their disability benefit payment rejections. This work inspired her dissertation, ‘Honey, We Shrunk the Disability Concept’ and was the start of her legal commitment to securing the rights of persons with disabilities. She was also the Chairman of the Research for Legal Change Committee and General Secretary of the Bristol Bar Society.
