Daniel Brown is the Pro Bono Partner and New York Co-Office Managing Partner at Sheppard. Dan is an experienced litigator whose practice has included complex business disputes, antitrust matters, intellectual property, and employment matters across various industries. Brown also has a longstanding commitment to disability rights. His first pro bono case, representing wheelchair athletes in a discrimination case against the New York Road Runners, led to the creation of a wheelchair division in the New York City Marathon. Brown has since been involved in multiple matters that have expanded access for people with disabilities and received the American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Award for his outstanding commitment to volunteer legal services for the poor and disadvantaged.
