Brittany Castle joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2022 as a Staff Attorney and became a Senior Staff Attorney in 2025. At DRA, Brittany is counsel for two class action lawsuits advancing the rights of incarcerated people with disabilities, and has also handled matters in the areas of housing, transportation, technology, and architectural accessibility. Additionally, Brittany has contributed to amicus briefs addressing the intersection of disability and immigration law, drawing on her background in immigration legal services.

Prior to joining DRA, Brittany represented immigrants in litigation challenging unconstitutional detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. She also volunteered with the Parole Preparation Project to help people incarcerated in New York state prison prepare for hearings before the parole board.

Brittany received her J.D. magna cum laude from NYU School of Law in 2019, where she was selected as an Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Fellow. During law school, she participated in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and Advanced Immigrant Rights Clinic. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University.
