Amy Ollove (she/her) joined Disability Rights Advocates as a paralegal based out of DRA’s New York office in October 2022.

Amy received her B.A. summa cum laude from Brandeis University where she studied Theatre Arts and Disability Rights and Culture. For her senior honors thesis, she combined her two passions with a thesis examining how people with mental health disabilities have been historically portrayed in theatrical works through the archetype of ‘The Fool’. While at Brandeis, Amy led the organization ‘Brandeis Buddies’ which serves to create a dialogue and community among participants with IDD and students at Brandeis.

After college, Amy worked as a special ed teaching assistant outside of Boston, MA before moving to New York City in conjunction with her new position here at DRA. Outside of DRA, Amy works with various theater groups dedicated to offering accessible performing arts classes and performances.
