Disability Rights Advocates is investigating the experiences of higher education students with mental health conditions at colleges and universities. If you’re interested in reading more about our work on higher education issues, you can read our case page for Mental Health and Wellness Coalition v. Stanford.

If you are a student who has a mental health condition, we would greatly appreciate it if you would complete the following survey. The survey asks about your personal experience with mental health and how it has been addressed at your college or university campus.

Survey: Mental Health in Colleges and Universities
Disability Rights Advocates (DRA), a national non-profit law center with offices in Berkeley, California and New York City, is investigating the experiences of higher education students with mental health conditions at universities and colleges for possible legal advocacy. We are interested in learning about your experiences such as seeking counseling, taking leaves of absence or accessing other accommodations. The questions below ask about your personal experience with mental health and how it has been addressed at your college or university campus. This survey is voluntary and can be filled out if you may be interested in seeking legal representation. You may provide as little or as much information as you feel comfortable. Your response will be kept confidential. This survey should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and we may contact you to get more details about your experiences. If you would prefer to share your experiences via email or phone, please contact Amy Ollove by email at higher-ed@dralegal.org or by phone at (510) 665-8644.
