This morning as I checked social media, I noticed there was a trending NYT article entitled “Tired Of The Subways? Blame Andrew Cuomo.” It talked all about how the MTA was failing the NYC customer, how the system was outdated and how Governor Cuomo has dropped the ball.

Imagine trying to get around the New York City subway system in a wheelchair.
Have you ever been on a New York City subway? I grew up in the Big Apple, and I used to love riding the subway as a kid. I’d travel all over the city without a problem. Not so today. Not so since MS changed my track.
New York City has the least wheelchair accessible subway system in the nation, according to a pair of class action lawsuits filed against the Metropolitan Transit Authority on April 25.
The city’s subway system is under dual attack over its lack of accessibility for people requiring elevators or escalators; and for its general maintenance of those which the system already has.
