Hailing from the great city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Morgan is a proud disabled woman who has worked in healthcare, tech, and non-profit organizations.
Morgan is currently on sabbatical after becoming a new mom, but was most recently employed at Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences). While at Verily, Morgan led strategy, communications, and policy efforts for mental health and addiction programs. Following the peak of the opioid epidemic in America, Morgan co-founded OneFifteen, a learning health system for addiction treatment in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to her work on OneFifteen, she was the Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer at Verily, where she oversaw growth and scaling of a new Alphabet company. Morgan began her career at Google, leading contract negotiations for Google[X] and Google.Org. While at Google she co-founded the Googler’s with Disabilities Employee Resource Group and negotiated new benefits for disabled Alphabet employees.
Morgan received her Bachelors of Arts from Stanford University in Human Biology with a focus on American Health Policy, and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics in Social Business and Entrepreneurship. While in college she interned in the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee’s Office of Disability Policy, and spent her summers working with children with disabilities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Morgan lives with her husband, Chris, their son, Jack, and their poodle, Benny, in San Mateo. In her spare time Morgan enjoys traveling, hosting dinner parties, reading fiction, and taking long strolls with her family. She is always searching for the perfect coffee shop.
