Allison May is a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in the Consumer Financial Services Practice Group in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where she counsels clients on credit card and payment systems transactions and transactions designed to leverage intellectual property and information technology within the financial services industry.  She represents financial institutions and technology companies in the negotiation and documentation of commercial arrangements of all kinds, including program agreements for private label and co-branded credit cards, processing agreements, joint venture agreements, and technology licensing agreements and collaborations.

She is a 1998 graduate of Georgetown Law School and the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.  Ms. May has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, and her interest in disability rights advocacy began when she was an undergraduate at Stanford University working with other students with disabilities during the years leading up to the passage of the ADA.  She remains committed to helping achieve equal access to public accommodations, services and opportunities for people with all manner of disabilities.
