Accessibility of Autonomous Vehicles
Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) and Disability Rights Arizona (DRAZ), two non-profit law centers, are investigating the autonomous vehicle industry and how it provides access for people with mobility disabilities, including people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Autonomous vehicles, also referred to as self-driving cars, are vehicles with technology that senses the conditions around them and adjusts their course and speed without a human at the controls.
We want to hear from you about your experiences with this emerging industry. Please complete the survey below. This survey is voluntary, you may provide as little or as much information as you feel comfortable. Your personal information will not be shared with anyone outside of DRA and DRAZ. This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete and will help us assess options for equal access to autonomous vehicles on behalf of people with mobility disabilities. We may contact you to get more details about your experiences.
If you prefer to share your experiences via email or phone instead, please contact DRA at info@dralegal.org or (510) 665-8644.
