Julia Marks joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2014 as a DRA Fellowship Attorney. Through litigation and structured negotiations, she advocates for persons with all types of disabilities in the areas of juvenile justice, transportation, and access to new technologies.
Ms. Marks received her J.D. from Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall) in 2014 and her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2009. During law school, she interned at the Public Interest Law Project in Oakland, California, and worked as a clinic student in the East Bay Community Law Center’s Neighborhood Justice Clinic, where she focused on debt defense and student loan education and advocacy. Ms. Marks also served as a Senior Editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law and led the Berkeley Consumer Advocacy and Protection Society.
Ms. Marks is admitted to the U.S. District Court of California (Northern District) and the State Bar of California.« Back to All Staff
