Sean Betouliere

Sean Betouliere joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2015 as its second Wolinsky Fellowship Attorney. Mr. Betouliere received his law degree from Berkeley Law in 2015 and his Bachelor of Arts in English (with highest honors) from U.C. Berkeley in 2005. During law school, he served as an extern to Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu in the Northern District of California, and interned with Disability Rights California and the Disability Rights Program of the Legal Aid Society Employment Law Center. Mr.

Jelena Kolic

Jelena Kolic joined DRA in 2015 as a DRA Fellowship Attorney. Prior to joining DRA, Ms. Kolic was a staff attorney at Legal Momentum, where she engaged in litigation and policy work relating to women’s workplace rights and gender-based violence. Her litigation work in particular focused on employment discrimination against pregnant workers and women in non-traditional fields. Before Legal Momentum, Ms. Kolic was a fellow at Sanctuary for Families, where she worked on issues involving human trafficking and domestic violence. Ms. Kolic received her J.D.

Julia Marks

Julia Marks joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2014 as a DRA Fellowship Attorney. Ms. Marks received her J.D. from Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall) in 2014 and her B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2009. During law school, she interned at the Public Interest Law Project in Oakland, California, and worked as a clinic student in the East Bay Community Law Center’s Neighborhood Justice Clinic, where she focused on debt defense and student loan education and advocacy. Seth Packrone

Seth Packrone joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2015 as a DRA Fellowship Attorney. Mr. Packrone received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2015, his master’s degree from the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Education in 2011, and his B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2010. During law school, he interned with UNICEF’s Disability Section and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia’s Special Education division.

Freya Pitts

Freya Pitts joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2015 as a Liman Fellowship Attorney, focusing on the rights of young people with mental health and learning disabilities who are confined in juvenile halls.  Ms. Pitts received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2013, and her B.A. summa cum laude from Yale University in 2008.  Prior to joining Disability Rights Advocates, she clerked for the Honorable Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.  While in law school, Ms.

Meredith Weaver

Meredith J. Weaver joined Disability Rights Advocates in 2015 as a Fellowship Attorney. Prior to joining DRA, Ms. Weaver was a public service legal fellow at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, San Francisco District Office, where she worked primarily on race, national origin, and disability discrimination litigation. Ms. Weaver graduated from Brown University in 2010 with an A.B. in International Relations and received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2014. At UT Law, Ms.
